I have often wondered how can children become addictive at an early age? The answer to this question can have many answers to it. However, because so many children start using drugs for different reasons, I have learned that many of them start because of their personality. Some children are more curious than others which can lead to experimentation. Some drugs are more powerful than others which can lead to an addiction very easily.
Peer Pressure
Drug addiction causes people to sell drugs to our children. Our children are already dealing with pressure from their peers. Whether its a certain type of look or taking your first drag from a cigarette, sooner or later our children too often fall because of the everyday pressure that is around them constantly.
The good news is that our youngsters are becoming more educated about drugs and alcohol. They are no longer believing the lie that drug addiction causes you to be accepted or qualified to join a particular gang. Education is key to helping you overcome these addictive behaviors.
